Tai Chi For Health & Wellness
Slow down. Breathe deeply. Move with intention.
Tai Chi is a gentle, low-impact practice that combines mindful movement and breath to promote greater balance and well-beingโphysically, mentally, and spiritually.
Whether youโre looking to increase flexibility, improve balance, calm your nervous system, reduce stress, or simply create a little more peace in your day, Tai Chi offers a welcoming place to begin.
Regular practice is often associated with a range of personal benefits โ improved mobility and flexibility, greater ease under stress, enhanced body awareness, and a general sense of wellbeing.
Tai Chi is accessible to people of all ages and fitness levels and asks nothing more than comfortable clothing, a little space, and a willingness to move slowly and with intention.
Move your body. Quiet your mind. Restore your spirit.

About Taijidokwan
Taijido Kwan explores the Chinese roots of Taekwondo while promoting the practice of Taijiquan, commonly known as Tai Chi. While Taekwondo and Tai Chi are practiced separately, the principles of balance, movement, and stillness found in Tai Chi are carried into our martial arts practice.
โTaijiโ represents balanceโthe relationship between movement and stillness, light and dark, yang and yin. Our logo reflects this harmony through the Taiji symbol, dragon, and tiger, traditional representations of these complementary forces.
โDoโ means โthe way,โ while โkwanโ means โschoolโ or โmethod of teaching.โ
Our Mission
Our mission is to nurture health and wholeness through mindful movement, strengthening the body, calming the mind and nervous system, and renewing the spirit, while honoring Godโs design for balance within us.
